"Too often, athletes leave college with the passion to keep playing but fall into the trap of assuming they'll get an overseas shot somehow, someway. They keep training but forget one crucial thing—coaches, scouts, and teams don’t just want potential; they want proof. If your game film is a year or two old, that’s the only story they see. Teams want players who are battle-tested, not just dreamers with no recent tape. For Division 3 players, the odds are even tougher. They’re overlooked almost every time in favor of D1 and D2 athletes—sometimes even those who barely saw the floor. But talent doesn’t always get the recognition it deserves. At the Coyotes, we give hoopers a real shot to stay in the game, showcase their skills, and turn that dream into reality."
